When the customer collects
Hand the device over and close the order. Sahel records the handover, not the money.
What you need first
- A Ready preorder.
Steps
Find the order in Preorders. Search by name, phone or number, or scan the barcode on the printed slip.
Take the remaining balance from the customer the way you normally do, outside Sahel.
Click Mark delivered on the row and confirm.
What you should see
The order becomes Fulfilled. No sale is recorded and no stock moves — the preorder is a record of what was promised and handed over, nothing else.
Common mistakes
- Expecting the handover to show up in your sales or profit reports. It will not: nothing is sold through Sahel here.
- If the customer pays more before collecting, open the order and use Record payment so the balance stays right.
