Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sahel ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Sahel is a cloud-based point-of-sale and business management system designed for retail businesses. The Service includes sales processing, inventory tracking, customer management, reporting, and related features.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Pricing & Payments
- New accounts start with a 14-day free trial with all features included. No credit card is required to start the trial.
- After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. Current prices — including the per-branch add-on and yearly option — are shown on the Pricing page and may change with notice.
- Payment is currently arranged directly with us (bank transfer or Cliq) and your subscription is activated manually. We do not process card payments ourselves and store no card details.
- If your trial or subscription ends, your data stays safe and you can export it; access to the app is restored when you subscribe.
- Optional setup, training, or custom services are arranged separately, and any fees are agreed before you pay.
5. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your business data. You may export your data at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purposes, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, to distribute malware, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sahel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, you will retain access to export your data for 30 days. After that, your data may be permanently deleted.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amman, Jordan.
